Q & A

Q: What is your experience with the Internet and online services?

A: My first exposure to online services was in 1986 when I was introduced to Prodigy. Early online memberships to CompuServe, AOL, Prodigy were like belonging to small communities. It wasn’t until several months later when another friend introduced me to Mindspring that I was SOLD!

Q: How did you choose marketing/graphic design as your occupation?

A: My passion for creativity, art, and design goes back to my years in high school. By the time my sophomore year was ending, I exhausted the art classes available to me and was placed in an independent study program for my Junior and Senior years. During that time, I was sought after for black and white portrait work that was often mistaken for black and white photos.

I felt like a NBA draft pick straight out of high school; going from prep-to-pro. I had an immediate opportunity to join the art department of our daily newspaper as a graphic designer. It seemed only logical that my path had been decided and I pursue a career in graphic design, advertising, and marketing.

Q: Why did you go from designing to training and coaching?

A: Another substantial interest of mine is coaching and training. This was an interest that was planted and grew from my early years of exposure to both. I was blessed at a very early age with an extraordinary mentor. He stressed and supported self-studies. He himself was a dynamic and successful motivational speaker and sells trainer in the automobile industry. At twelve years of age, he had me reading and studying Zig Ziglar and Napoleon Hill. Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Brian Tracy, Harvey Mackay, and Deepak Chopra have also played a major part in shaping my perspectives on life, career, and balance. It was lucid decision to merge my marketing and sales knowledge of more than 15 years into training and coaching opportunity.

Q: Why are you interested in moving into social media marketing?

A: Social media marketing is an organic opportunity that melds all of my professional experience. It is something that I have been doing successfully for my own services since 2000. Now I am ready to jump in and contribute to the success of a creative and cutting edge company.
